Last Tuesday we went out jogging and the family's sports dog Scarlet, 10 years old, joined us as usual.
On Wednesday, the day after that, I started wondering if there was something wrong with Scarlet's health.
On Thursday, she needed a surgical operation due to uterus inflammation (pyometra). Scarlet, on the other hand, tried to convince me that nothing was wrong with her.
Now, a week later, Scarlet is walking around and cannot understand why she is not allowed to join us for a walk or jogging tour. There is nothing against doing that, neither with this funnel, nor with the stitches on my belly, is her opinion.
This is how life should be for a Bernese Mountain dog! There are too many dogs carrying off too soon.
